Wings demolish challenging Sharks

They sure picked the right time to play good. On Thursday the Detroit Red Wings defeated the San Jose Sharks 6-0, despite the fact that the Sharks currently have the most points in the NHL. In doing so the Red Wings have shown that, contrary to popular belief, they are not losing their touch. Several people believe that the Wings lack the motivation for another Stanley Cup. I must disagree. Right now Detroit is a city which could use some cheering up. Kwame, the Lions, and now the Tigers and Wolverines, are making the city miserable. The Wings can fuel their motivation off of that. They are looking solid right now, with the second most points overall.
